Carefully choosing the right kitchen floors for your home is important to ensure you select something that is appropriate for the space, your lifestyle, and your design style. 

There are so many options out there and this is great because you’ll find what you’re looking for, but this can also be overwhelming for many.  Although it is a big decision, it doesn’t have to be stressful.

Laminate is a popular choice for kitchen flooring. It has a bottom layer made of plywood and other fibers and a top plastic layer applied over a photograph of a specific material. The better the photo technology the more realistic it will look in your kitchen. 

You could mimic nearly any natural material such as stone, wood, bamboo and even concrete. It’s also easy to install and a less expensive option. 

We will continue to see laminate dominate most homes for quite some time. So if you love the look of natural materials but are simply on a budget or don’t want something that requires maintenance this is a good alternative.

9. Concrete 

Concrete flooring is on trend and one of the hottest on the market today. It’s perfect for a contemporary setting to give your space a modern feel. 

It’s long-lasting, durable, strong, low maintenance and has a luxury feel. Expect this to be on trend for some time as it gains massive popularity in the interior design space.
