Brown kitchens are a trend that is beginning to hit the mainstream and it’s becoming an increasingly popular selection amongst homeowners.
It will be a color that defines this generation and will be around for a long time. It creates the sense of warmth that we have all been craving and can’t get enough of.
We are talking about a spectrum of browns, anywhere from a soft taupe to a dark rich chocolate.
Consider pairing it with beiges or greys and remember to create some contrast, for example, if you choose dark brown walls blend it with beige or gray cabinets.
Wood tones are also very popular right now so be prepared to see a lot of dark and light wood cabinets, countertops and islands.
Sherwin-Williams color of the year Redend Point SW-9081 (195-C4) is a beautiful earthy brown with a hint of rose undertone that would look fantastic on your walls.
Valspar Ivory Brown 6006-1C is a pretty, soft, light and calming brown inspired by nature that will bring the warmth you desire.

2. Off-White
Although some may argue that all-white kitchens seem to be a thing of the past, many are still opting to keep their walls off-white and incorporate color and texture into other areas.
